- Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III
- Edgardo Angara
- Alan Peter Cayetano
- Joker Arroyo and
- Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan
- Reyna Elena (Wasn’t able to attend. Sick leave was not approved).
Actually, the real congratulations goes to all the Filipinos who voted intelligently by carefully selecting the candidates based on their qualifications, what they stand for, what their agendas are and what they can do for our country. I am one of those Pinoys who believed that even though there are still Filipinos who could be bought by a mere Php100, there are a lot more who cares more about the future of our kids (teka ba’t our eh di naman ako ang nagbubuntis!) your kids pala.
Life is a team, and so I hope that all of these Senators starts working as a team working for OUR common good and not OF THEIR good or their relatives good.
So, Reyna ”Aside from enacting laws, what else can you do for our country?”
It’s called leadership. Our turd world kawntri needs strong leadership and that is something that we, as Senators of the Philippines will have to provide our citizenry. We must be the role models of everyone. Our decisions affecting the masses have to be constantly be guided by our religious values, morality and legality. That’s what our country need - a LEADER. And so far? We have very few. And the ones that we have right now? They are not leaders. No one seems to be following them. They’re just having a leisurely walk by the river.
*~~ krrrringgg! (nagizing 0 nagulantang !@#$% kablag!@~!@) Chuva??? Hello? Usap tayo mamya! Istorbo ka!
I hope our new leaders would actually provide some real leadership that our high school and college students could look up to! I did not have the privilege when I was in high school. I’ve only known one president, who gave us curfew and a crazy f*kup guy called Martial that f*kd up our lives, big time. Please! Never again!
To our new Senators, be reminded:
-
Show CURIOUSITY. You have to listen to us, even if we don’t belong to your “YES, SIR” inner circle. You have to step outside of your comfort zone so you will have different ideas. Don’t be arrogant by ignoring what we are writing and telling you just because you are now back in power!
-
Be CREATIVE and think outside of your Senator’s box. Things change, people’s mentality change so you have to adapt and be creative.
-
COMMUNICATE! That is, tell the truth even though it might be painful. We’ll accept it more compared to these twinkling GDP numbers that doesn’t jibe with reality!
-
You must have a CHARACTER, which means, you should know by now what’s right and what’s wrong! Now that you all are in power, we will find out your true character!
-
You must have COURAGE which means, take a position even when you know it will cost you your vote! Remember you serve US not your family.
-
You must have CONVICTION! Passion! You’ve got to really want something good to happen! Like a four-lane expressway from Manila to Matnog and from Catarman to Leyte and from Surigao to Tawi-Tawi.
-
You should have CHARISMA. It’s that quality that makes people want to follow you. It’s that ability to inspire. It’s the reason why people trust you - that’s why they follow you.
-
You must be COMPETENT. Obvious ain’t it? That’s why you all didn’t vote those actors who are clueless! Good job!!!
-
You gotta have COMMON SENSE!
Apologies to Lee Iacocca

10 down, 2 more to go. I heard the administration is creeping under the noses of the Comelec to alter the results of the 11th and 12th spot in their favor. sore losers.
