I love these women. They’re very talented, and yes, I play their music in my car. What’s these women got to do with our current school curriculum in the Philippines? Yes, I’m talking about Arts. This subject is gone in your kids curriculum. It’s been morphed into one subject called Social Studies.
When will we see Pinays on a stage like this? Showing off their super talents in arts? music?
While we wait for that time to happen, all we have to do right now is envy these beautiful ladies.
ENJOY!

nice music and beautiful women indeed. Are they malaysians or singaporeans?
One of my dream is to learn playing the flute and the viola or violin, and master the piano (guitar? done!). I hope im not to old for these things.

There are some filipinos who are doing good in performing Arts. Not many of them though.
An acquaintance of mine, Andion Fernandez, is one of the top Opera Singer in Deutche Oper in Berlin. Last season, she played Hansel in Hansel and Gretel. This year, she will be playing Antonia in Tiefland.
The Philippine Madrigal Singers won last year at the European Grand Prix (Choral Competition) bagged the first place in 2 categories.
I am sure there are a lot more filipino artists who are really world class but it is very hard to have a break through. Like you, I am hoping that filipino talents would also shine…

Hey AL!!!
I agree with you, we have a lot. I wish all of our kids in the province have the same opportunity but that’s getting to be a rare opportunity now, it’s beginning to be simply a privilege, it’s getting out of reach, why in school these things are now morphed into one subject called Social Studies.

I agree, we need programs that will allow Filipino talents to improve their skills so they can apply their talents. Like these women, they endure years of training before they became what they are now.

favorite ko ang grupong Bond.I remember when I was a kid I dreamed of playing the violin, but no one knows how to play it in our town, well, this is as far as I know. I think the interest and maybe the talent is really within us but sadly, no one or nothing is there to facilitate or hone the talent. Learning to play musical instruments now is truly a privilege. Sana CCP would really tie-up with the DepEd to really look into ways on how to integrate an arts curriculum in elementary & secondary schools. Sayang naman mga natatagong talento ng mga batang Pilipino.
