Nora Aunor, talent manager in same-sex marriage?
MANILA, Philippines — After baring a flurry of alleged secret weddings of Philippine showbiz personalities, the Clark County, Nevada marriage database came up with yet another shocking revelation. The country’s foremost “Superstar”, Nora Aunor, whose real name is Nora C. Villamayor got married in Las Vegas but not to any of the men who came into her life—but to a woman, her talent manager Norie Sayo.
According to the database result for “Nora Villamayor” or “Norie Sayo” in the Clark County, Nevada marriage search (http://redrock.co.clark.nv.us/RecSearch/MarriageSearchName.aspx), the same-sex marriage happened on May 22, 2000. If this is confirmed, it would mean they would celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary on Tuesday.
The record also revealed their marriage certificate number as D190650, with an “instrument number” of 200005310081683.
It was not known why Nevada had allowed such a union since the state banned same-sex marriages.
GMA-7’s “Showbiz Central” broke the story Sunday but was unable to reach Nora, who refused comment.
“Yan hindi ko na alam,” Nora’s close friend, industry stalwart German Moreno, said. “Hindi naman ako palatanong sa buhay ng isang tao lalo na kay Guy (Nora) ano. Nakikita ko rin yung mga taong nagiging malapit sa kanya at yung mga taong nagsasamantala din sa kanya. Kaya ang hirap, eh. Ang hirap dahil buhay niya yan.”
Meanwhile, all of Nora’s children also declined to issue any statement

my father is very angry with nora. he used to slam our tv before during “Superstar” days. I guess if I will tell him today, he would definitely throw our fridge for a change haha.
