TU dares GO: Apologize for misinterpreting PERC report 

The Genuine Opposition (GO) should apologize for making a wrong interpretation on the report of Hong Kong-based Political and Economic Risk Consultancy (PERC) that the country is the most corrupt in Asia, Team Unity spokesman Tonypet Albano said.

“PERC said that it is not true that the Philippines is the most corrupt in Asia. The opposition is simply making it out to reduce the chances of the administration candidates,” Albano said.

What difference does it make? I read the report itself! We’ve surpassed Indonesia as the most corrupt country? Even if GO apologizes, that does not justify the fact that the government has not done anything to get rid of corruption! Worst! The leaders themselves are the forefront of the corruption extravanganza in the country!

Last March 2007, we were tagged by the Hong Kong-based Political and Economic Risk Consultancy as the most corrupt in Asia.

The Philippines replaced Indonesia as the country with “the distinction of being perceived in the worst light this year,” the Hong Kong-based Political and Economic Risk Consultancy said Tuesday in a summary of its survey that was made available to Agence France Presse (AFP).

Today, May 14, 2007 - the  Political and Economic Risk Consultancy clarified that it did not single out the Philippines as the most corrupt in Asia, noting that its report was “abused by people for their own political ends.”

WOW!

What difference does this clarification makes?!

We’re still the most corrupt in Asia.

Like we don’t know this.

We don’t have a leader that’s why! A leader who would lead us to a better life, well, with morals too! A leader who would show us the fine ways of conducting and doing business free of corruption. A leader who would be our role model. Do we have that leader? Does anyone understands what’s the definition of a leader? A leader who cannot lead is just a person walking in the park alone.

But as the most corrupt nation in Asia, we forgot something.  As the best nation in Asia to perfect the art of corruption, why in the world did we forget to bribe PERC to put us dead last besting Singapore? What’s wrong with us? How could we forget to identify all the relatives of those working in PERC and give them all kinds of gift$?

As a Filipino - this award as the most corrupt in Asia does not make me shameful at all. Nope. This is a reminder to me that indeed, everything that we’ve fought for were such a waste it did not even make a dent. Na-ah. It’s a reminder that we need to capitalize on our core competency. Corruption.

This is a global economy.

We should be happy, we are the leader in this field. We’ve not only perfected the art of corruption, we’re putting in place all the people and dynasties and political clans who will soon facilitate corruption even better. Isn’t it nice! We’re corrupt from head to toe we’ve made a lot of efficiency gains.

It’s time to offer Corruption Courses in College. Better still, start Corruption Subjects in High School. Nah… Let’s offer it on the Elementary Level. Wait… on a second thought, let’s do it on Pre-school level!

 We should be the first mover. We should have Master in Corruption Administration, as a matter of fact, we are soooo ready to offer Doctorate degrees in Corruptioneering. Let’s sell our core competency to the world. Let’ s export our corruption ability to everyone wanting it! All in the name of helping the world and sharing our talent. Our corruption talent!

I am soooo proud that indeed there is still the corrupt Philippines. Don’t pinch me, because I know I am still a Filipino. What in the world will I do and will I become if the Philippines is no longer a corrupt country? Ugh!

Yea, I tell people that we are the most corrupt country in the world (I know we are most corrupt in Asia!) and I tell them, finally! World Domination!!!

I am sooooooo proud of our country!

For once!

We are on top of the world!

What the hell is the matter with the administration? the philippines is indeed corrupt! sounds guilty I think. anyhow I made a video ridiculing these politicans which I uploaded on you tube.     talking about psychology: ano ang sinabi sa class ninyo? my best friend in Toronto asked me to see a psychologist dahil me tupak daw ako because eye em what eye em, di ko kinausap for years sa galit ko. nagkabalikan kami, ok na sya, although tumabang yong friendship namin. so tell me, ano ang sinabi sa psychology nyo? :-)

    20. nothing bad naman. as you know in psychology, we do not judge people. we just simply understand what they are going through - specifically the inner longing for understanding, happiness and their rightful place in the society. you see pards (i will call you that because im used to call everybody that), you dont have to worry. its your own journey as a human being. and discovering your mannerisms and human needs is not bad as what others may think. it depends on how you fulfill it though. sinabi lang siguro yun ng friend mo just to tell you sarcastically na di ka nya maintindihan and not on the level na kailangn mo ng psychologist. because if you do, you won’t be this good in writing. Just do remember (and its not a paconsuelo de bobo) that we all have our own psychological incapacities as in lahat. kahit mga santo meron. ako, im a monster when i get mad. i have a bad temper, pero yung awareness ang nakapagpa tone down sa akin. yung blog ko, isa sa theme dun, ang ipakilala ko ang mga weaknesses ko sa mundo pati my psychological incapacities ko so that others can relate and somehow masabi nila sa sarili nila na “ah hindi lang pala ako ang ganun”. you see pards, lalaki o babae, bakla o tomboy, iba man ang mga level of experiences pero iisa ang psychological dynamics. dunnagkakapareho. and psychology is not an absolute determinant ng behavior ng tao. tools lang ito kaya di lahat dapat mo paniwalaan. if you want to know what im talking about, read my “tapsilog” menu if you have time. and somehow nandun yung gistnng mga sinasabi ko dito. don’t worry tol, you are loved by the people around you especially your family. always think na di ka abnormal. its your journey. its the journey that matters not the destination.
