False Asia: 54% of Pinoys feel life worse now than in 2004

Eto ang latest report nang False Asia. Natatandaan nyo ba yong latest statistics na 9 out of 10 Pinoys have jobs? Well, what they’re talking about is that yong trabaho pala nung 9 eh maghanap nang trabaho.

Anyway, the report says that despite the government’s repeated claims of economic progress, 54 percent or more than half of Filipinos still feel that their quality of life has worsened between 2004 and 2007, according to a Pulse Asia pre-election survey made between April 3 to 5.

The survey also showed nearly two out of three, or 65 percent, feel the national QOL, or the quality of life for most of their fellow Filipinos, had worsened since 2004, or the year when national and local elections were last held.

“Thus, it appears that the reported gains from the economic reforms put in place by the Arroyo administration are not yet being felt by most Filipinos,” Pulse Asia said in a statement.
