The nursing board cheating saga continues

Can you believe what’s going on with the nursing board cheating scandal? It’s such a mess that even Malacanang is flip-flopping or could not even decide as to whether or not there would be a retake of the whole exam in the entire 7,000 and 1 islands. There’s just too many questions now and as the day goes on, everybody is blaming everybody.

Take the case of this one in Tacloban: “The dean of a nursing school here denounced the claim that there was cheating in Tacloban during the controversial nursing licensure examinations (NLE) last June. Antonio Lim, dean of the St. Scholastica’s School of Health and Sciences, called the allegation unfair and without basis. Lim said the school hired a review center, which is not among those linked to the test leakage.

Of course naman ano? Once you start the finger pointing, it’s just human nature to react against the accusations. I’m not saying that these people are guilty of what they are being accused about. Take the case of this one: “A board reviewer who earlier said he believed the leakage of test questions given during nursing board examinations in June had spread to Davao and Tacloban cities, now says he has no evidence to support his claim. Ambilis bumaliktad ano? So, what was he saying in the first place? I wonder what made him changed his statement. Teka ha? Titingnan ko sa bolang kristal ko. Hmmm… baka me dumaang hanging dolyar?! Di kaya?

“I would like to make it clear that what I said was hypothetical. There is no substantial evidence present at the moment,” nursing board reviewer Joel Dumdum said in a phone interview Sunday..”. Hypothetical?! Anong mga kaululan tong mga pinagsasabi nito? I say, if you have no idea what you’re talking about aba eh, don’t say it kasi you are in the position pa naman at ginugulo mo lang ang magulong mundo ngayon nitong bali-balikong board exams!

Meanwhile, everyone is clamoring for thorough investigation! I mean, wow! Why? What kind of investigation was done in the 1’st place? Baka naman the investigation itself is another big-cheap-makeup-sign-here-pwede-na-yan-cover-up investigation? As in, hanggang ngayon? No credible word? Asan na yong mga culprits? Why is this going on forever? We’ve seen this incident di ba? This is the same as the Ninoy Case investigation that dragged on for centuries and nothing happened. Well, meron. They blamed that poor somebody. I bet you, this case has the makings of another Ninoy Case.

Dito sa United States, this could be one big soap opera called “As Life Goes On”… Abangan po ang susunod na kabanata nitong mga pandaraya sa Nursing Board Exams. Meanwhile ang mga pobreng nurses natin na nag-kasanla sanla ang mga kung ano-anong pag-aari nila sa probinsya are the one who are suffering from all this katarantaduhan done by a few individuals and I bet you, siguro andyan lang sila nag-paparty!
