HELLEERRR…. REYNA ELENA, i am planning to put up kahit 4-6 pc lang muna kasi wala akong pera for an internet cafe… kumbaga pinagkatiwalaan lang me na pautangin ng frend ko. 2nd pc ang plan ko bilhin. magkano mo kaya pagbili ang mga pc mo? sad story mo naman noh, ur helping ur relatives in a way tapos ganun lang mangyari kaya nga me, i want na ako mismo ang humawak ng bizniz ko kasi i will have heart to care talaga.

Let’s say 6 pc’s ang bibilhin mo. Do you know that you will have to pay at least Php11k for a PLDT connection? Electricity mo sa 6 PC’s will still consume around Php4-5k a month. Now, consider mo yong rent - let’s say sa bahay mo so wa na rent. What about supplies and salaries. Sabihin na nating that’s roughly around Php7k a month. So (11+5+7) so you have more or less Php23k fixed expense.

Now, how many hours will you be open. Let’s say open ka nang 9am to 9pm - 12 hours and using Paretto, 80% of 12 hours. 9.6 hours and busy mo roughly 100% yan nang income mo. Magkano charge mo? Say Php25/hour. So that’s (25*9.6=240 per day * 26 days (excluding weekends)= Php6,240.00 per month.

Now, do this for me, correct and adjust my calculations, ask mo PLDT how much exactly ang expense mo sa connection, estimate mo electricity and all the other expenses, kasi the way I see it is that, if you are opening an internet cafe with 6 computers… Tita, magtinda ka na lang nang trahe de boda. Kikita ka pa.

You get my drift? Sa internet cafe, it’s a numbers game. Numbers nang computers mo kasi economies of scale to tita.
