======== *…hmmnnn Reyna thinking…. *
Santiago,
First off, depending on how close you are to where the traffic of students are, then you will have a great location. Kasi, kahit na malapit sa school, it still depends kung saan visible sa students your copier center mo. So, for a start, location, location, location and it looks like you have it.
Next, capital investment.
If you buy new copiers, andaming prices, you have to decide yourself. Best source of information would be, go into ebay or bestbuy or compusa or, I’m sure you could shop around in Bahrain for prices. Dito kasi, you could buy copiers - three in one pa yan, it’s copier, printer and scanner. Prices could range anywhere between $150 used, $500 new to a couple of $1,000 more. I’m sure as you read my advice to you, you will definitely stay away from the $1,000+ prices and you will soon know why. Magaling kasi yong mga dwende ko mag-research, although me kulang! Kaya ayun pinauwi ko muna nang probinsya!
So, what would be your capital investment? Ok - the rest nito, you will have to fill-in the blanks. Let’s start with your initial cash outlay tsaka monthly expenses which are the easy ones:
1. Rental, let’s say ang charge sayo is Php8,000/mo. Alam ko dyan saatin, normally, you will have to shell out 3 months advance. So, (Php8,000 x 3)=Php24,000
2. Utilities/Electric, let’s say on average siguro gagasto ka nang Php1,000
3. Utilities/Water, Php500
4. Utilities/Gas-Etc, Php500
5. Tao, isa, say Php5,000 (baka naman lumayas din to’t tumakbo nang Saudi no?!)
Get mo ko?! Oh, wag kang umatras. Kaya mo yan.
8. Ganda nang Store. Siempre pagagandahin mo yong shop mo. Ngayon, depende to sa drama mo ano? Mas madrama ka, mas magasto. Wala ka namang drama, aba! Lalaitin ka lang nang mga estudyante. Ma-aarte ang mga yan!
Ngayon, add natin to… teka lang ha?!
*Clik! Bog! !@!#$56789!*
Pero, I hope you are getting my point, kasi you will have to substitute these numbers as you go along dahil malalaman mo rin actually as you do your market research.
Ok, eto:
Ang perang ilalabas mo:
Rental = Php24,000
Permit = Php100
Pera sa kaha=Php1,000
Renovations=Php10,000
2 Copiers @ Php60,000=Php120,000 (explain ko sa baba)
Total = Php155,100
Monthly Expense:
Rental=Php8,000
Electric=Php1,000
Water=Php500
Tel/Etc=Php500
Tao=Php5,000
Promo=Php500
Total=Php15,500
+Profit=Php20,000
(Note: Wala pa dito yong Sales Tax)
What will be your revenue?
Eto ang unahin mo. Copy, Print, Scanning. Ayon, tatlo sources nang revenue mo. Copy magkano? Alva Computers daw is charging Piso! Sabi nang mga dwende ko. Yong mga mom ang pop stores na competitors nila would go 0.75 to 0.50 per page! Well, let’s say Php20,000 and fixed expense mo + Profit margin, di kelangan mo nang 40,000 copies para makapag break even ka di ba?
So you’re asking about income computation? Simple lang. Per page copied = Php0.50 to Php1.00 per page. Kung ang volume mo 40,000/mo, say 40,000 x Php1.00 = Php40,000 monthly revenue. Other sources of revenue mo yong mga scanning at printing.
Next, anong klaseng copier ngayon?
You can lease daw sa Xerox, per click pages daw ang bayad. It depends kung ilang per page machine ang i-le-lease mo, but you can go ang check them out. You could also buy cheap ones dun sa Greenhills malapit sa MRT station. Prices could range from Php60,000 per machine and higher.
Here’s what Reyna advices:
1. Visit all of those copier businesses na ma-visit mo
2. Check out their prices at kung ano pang services na offer nila
3. Take note of their location, their concept and promo, paper that they us, machine that they use, etc.
4. Concentrate on revenue. Can you pull it off?
5. Get a machine depende dun sa revenue forecast mo.
Pasensya ka na, medyo kulang ang kaalaman nang Reyna sa Copier business, but I hope you followed the gist in making a decision.
