becoolini,

Here’s a tip from a friend about opening a bakery. You’d be surprised, pero you know what, this is a business where “LOCATION” may not necessarily be important. True, in some cases, you do need a good location, that is, if your bakery is also your store. If that’s the case, then you do need a really good location. It’s not just a case of heavy traffic but what kind of traffic? Pagka office people going to work, baka wala silang panahon to stop by. Pagka office people going to work, baka wala silang panahon to stop by. Pagka traffic along residential or market, then that would be good.

But here’s a very good strategy which my friend implemented. They have a bakery - inside a subdivision - actually. Home-based, basically. What they did is that, they partnered with a lot of stores and restaurant within the 2 to 5 kilometer radius dyan sa Novaliches. What they did is gave samples to restaurants and stores, took orders, most are on consignments. It took them awhile to get some partners. Alam mo naman tayong mga Pinoy, di ba? Yong iba dyan kung pwedeng libre - libre! Grabe talaga!

Now, you have to be choosy sa business establishment na ipapartner mo because they carry your name as well. The good thing about this is that, you limit your production based dun sa orders nila and they have a pretty good idea kung ilan ang mabebenta nila. In the meantime, you can take orders in your place or subdivision for that matter or kaya magdeliver ka. O, ambon naman dyan o! Feed my attention deficit syndrome naman!

    bakery business -

1.you have to consider ‘foot traffic’.
    2. if you are putting up a bakery business inside a subd you have to consider that a subd is residential place and not a comm’l area, you have neighbors who wanted to out of comm’l, congested area so be considerate and other more considerations.
